Kava Kava

Kava Kava - is a tranquilizer primarily taken to relax and calm without causing any mental changes. Its active ingredients are called kavalactones. Kava is used as an herbal remedy to ease symptoms of anxiety, stress and depression.

The majority of evidence shows that kava extracts standardized to 70% kavalactones are superior to placebo for treating anxiety. A specific component of hoodia extract is thought to be responsible for appetite suppressant properties. This constituent has been dubbed P57. This substance is thought to act centrally to stimulate sensations of satiety.

5-HTP

5-HTP - is a naturally occurring amino acid, a precursor to the neurotransmitter serotonin. Serotonin is an important neurotransmitter that relays signals from one part of the brain to another. Serotonin has influences on mood, sexual desire and function, appetite, sleep, memory and learning, temperature regulation, and some social behavior. Valerian
